Position Overview: The Machine Maintenance Helper assists in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of machinery and equipment. This role involves supporting skilled maintenance personnel, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with Repairs: Help in diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues in various machinery under the guidance of maintenance technicians.

Preventive Maintenance: Participate in routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machines to prevent breakdowns.

Tool and Equipment Management: Maintain and organize tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stored.

Parts Inventory: Assist in tracking and managing spare parts inventory, notifying supervisors when supplies are low.

Documentation: Help in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and machine performance.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

Training Support: Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of machinery maintenance.

General Maintenance Tasks: Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning work areas, moving equipment, and assisting with equipment installations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
