At our shop we have a large “Mechanics Bay” garage waiting for you! This will be your HQ and where you’ll spend most of your time – with the occasional errand to run or site visit to make. Your Mechanics Bay is fully equipped with all you’ll need for your daily equipment maintenance/repairs or handyman project requests! Although your work area is secluded, you will still have crew members, office staff, and customers coming to visit you on a regular basis – and we like to think we make excellent company!

Position Type:
-Duration: Full time (year – round) position.
-Wage: $30/hr starting rate – finalized rate will depend on experience you bring to the table.
Brief Description of Duties:
-Critical Thinking: understand how you’ll organize necessary task steps, then gather all equipment and tools necessary to complete the task at hand.
-Self/Time Management: being able to understand when things need to be done, motivate yourself to stay on track, and ensure all tasks are completed within the provided time frame.
-Paperwork: daily completion of Mechanic’s Reports, vehicle inspections, parts order tracking, and other designated forms.
-Be a Good Leader: Demonstrate role model behavior, ethics, integrity and positive promotion of company culture! This position interacts with all other company divisions as well as directly with customers so it is important to maintain a positive image.
Skills & Requirements:
-Good Time Management: will show up on time, meet deadlines, and work efficiently.
-Attention to Detail: different job notes/specifications, work methods, and task instructions need to be properly understood and executed.
-Be Personable: even though customer service is not a specific aspect of the job, you must always be prepared to interact with customers on a daily basis at our shop.
-Transportation: Valid Driver’s License is required
-Experience: Experience & knowledge of working on landscaping related machinery is required; however, no mechanics certification is required.
