G license – Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations in Toronto. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service. The Delivery Driver will be involved in loading and unloading freight
unloading freight.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries or concerns during deliveries.

Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license(G)
• Experience in commercial driving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Previous experience in delivery and logistics is MANDATORY. Prior experience with the following companies UNI UNI, AMAZON FLEX, T-FORCE, FEDEX, PUROLATOR,TEMU DELIVERY would be a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
• A Background check is required.
