Stair Assembler/Manufacturer

We are seeking a motivated individual with stair assembly experience, or similar, to fill a permanent full-time position at our custom stair and railing company located in Newmarket. A great opportunity to work in a unique area of the construction/manufacturing industry, creating one-of-a-kind stair systems for some of the most prestigious builders and architects in the GTA. Main duties include manufacturing various wood stair components (treads, risers, stringers, etc.) and assembly of components into complete stair systems. Secondary duties include occasional deliveries and installation assistance. Please include resume or application will not be considered.

Wages: $ 20.00 – $ 28.00 per/hour based on experience

Requirements:
– Carpentry/woodworking experience (or similar, i.e. cabinetry)
– Ability to read work orders and cut lists
– Ability to lift heavy objects
– Personal small hand tools (i.e., chisel, hammer, tape measure)
– Driver’s licence
