Hiring AZ/DZ Drivers – Snowplow

Job description
We are looking for AZ/DZ Drivers to operate our Snowplows in Ottawa for this winter season.

At A&G The Road Cleaners Ltd., we ensure our equipment is safe for our drivers so they can do their best quality work. We are also an essential service with many growth opportunities at our locations.

Responsibilities

· Maintaining accurate documentation including but not limited to safety reports and hours.

· Maintain/clean equipment, conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs as required

· As instructed and necessary, operate specialized equipment, such as winter equipment.

· Ability to understand performance requirements of the contract, route map and sand/salt application rate etc.

· Available 24/7 and respond to call-ins within 60 minutes (evenings, weekends, nights and holidays)

· Great customer service skills, team player and good communication a must.

Requirements:

· Mechanically inclined

· AZ or DZ license with a clean drivers abstract

· Previous experience in winter works operations and winter combination units is an asset

· Ability to work flexible hours and long shifts

· Appreciation for a high level of efficient and quality work

· Ability to communicate effectively with solid writing skills

· Able to travel in all types of weather and temperatures

Pay:
Standby – weekly standby wages, PLUS on top of that we pay you the hours you work
Hourly -$27- $29 per hour (pending on experience)

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
