Seeking Reliable Nanny in Prince George, BC – $17.50/hr

We are a family in Prince George, British Columbia, seeking a responsible and caring nanny to help our family. We offer $17.50 per hour for an on-call, part-time position with a flexible schedule. Our ideal candidate should have experience in childcare, specifically toddlers. The candidate should be able to create a safe and nurturing environment for our child.
Currently, the primary caregiver of our child is injured; as such, she cannot lift anything over 20 pounds and needs to be resting most of the time. We have not found a daycare for our child yet, but we are searching for one.

The primary responsibilities include engaging our child in educational and fun activities, preparing some meals, and maintaining a tidy living space. Our child enjoys outdoor activities as well. We are looking for someone reliable, organized, and passionate about working with our child. Our nanny needs to be respectful and positively influence our child’s development.
Basic First Aid is a must. Candidate must be able to provide their own transport to and from the home and be able to provide references and a background check.

We want to hire as soon as possible; the on-call hours are Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm. The nanny position is “on-call” as the secondary caregiver has an on-call occupation in forestry.
