Seeking mothers helper in SE Calgary – $20/hr

Title: mother’s helper needed 1-2 times per week
Hello! We are a warm and quiet family in Ogden, Calgary, seeking a reliable and caring “mother’s helper” to care for our infant in our home while we are also home. The position offers an hourly rate of $20/hour and flexible hours. We are looking for someone to come by once a week for 4-5 hours at a time.

We are looking for someone who has experience and genuine love for babies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entertaining and ensuring the safety of our baby while we, the parents, work on other things in the home. We are looking for someone to engage in developmental activities with our baby, whether that’s playing on the floor or going for walks or just having a little chat. You should be comfortable changing diapers, dressing/undressing the baby, and have strategies for calming her when she is upset. Of course, we will introduce you to our baby and tell you about what she likes and doesn’t like.

We would also appreciate help with light housework when the baby is napping. This might include dishes, laundry, tidying, and easy meal prep.

Hours can be very flexible and accommodating. We can work around your availability.

We have a gentle and elderly cat who also lives in our house.
