Hiring: Male PSW for Night shift – F/T – $21-22/hr

I’m a middle aged male with physical disability and I’m looking for a PSW for night shift and some afternoon shifts. I use a wheelchair and have a tracheostomy tube.
Ideal candidate
– Someone who has previous medical background
– Has a car or lives close to client location or willing to relocate
– Physically strong
– Reliable, punctual and hard worker
– Quick learner with initiative to give their best every day
– Friendly, helpful and caring nature
Responsibilities
– Transferring using Hoyer lift (training will be provided)
– Tracheostomy care and Ventilator usage (training will be provided)
– Positioning in bed and making sure client is comfortable
– Personal care and bedside care
– Light housekeeping during day shifts
Timing
Night shifts – 11pm to 1am – 6 nights, including weekends.
Day shift – 1pm to 8pm – 2 days in the week. Wednesday and Sunday.
Requirements
– SIN and valid work permit (not cash job)
– Police clearance (vulnerable sector check)
– Up to date with vaccination
Salary
– $21 to 22/hr – Active hours
– $18.5/hr – Inactive hours
– 4% vacation pay included in each cheque
– Holiday pay and premium pay
