Tile setter helper job at the Tile Guy Inc.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tile laying and flooring installation, with proficiency in using hand tools and reading blueprints. We also looking primarily for students who are looking to learn for internship purposes. This is why the rate is set at minimum wage.

Duties:

– Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles
– Apply grout and sealant to create a waterproof surface
– Caulk corners and edges for a finished look
– Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Tile Setter helper or similar role
– Knowledge of various tile types and patterns
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints
– Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, levels, and tile cutters
– Strong attention to detail and precision in work
– Basic carpentry skills are a plus
