Live in Companion, caregiver for senior

Live a quiet, healthy life in the country providing companionship and care for a strong willed 96 year old woman. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with older people, knowing how to build a caring, trusting relationship, especially in situations where there is some mild cognitive decline. You will also speak proper English, preferably without a thick accent as the client is hard of hearing. There are two dogs that share the home along with an adult son and his partner You will assist with household chores, driving, and meal preparation. This job is located 90 minutes east of Toronto in a small town near Cobourg. This position is full time, 7 days a week. Most weekdays have free time during the day while the client is at a day program close to home. Wage is $2500 a month plus room and board.
