Seeking Light Duty Cleaner

Mahusay Cleaning Services is an Ottawa-based residential and light commercial cleaning service.

We are hiring for the position of Cleaning Technician (commercial cleaner) at $18.20/hour.

Starting November, work minimum 30 hrs/week through to March.

Job Description – Cleaning Technician

– move cleaning tools and supplies
– clean various surfaces using appropriate products and techniques
– perform regular building cleans which include hallways, light fixtures, elevators, stairwells, floors and carpets, windows, and steps
– occasionally perform residential cleans, including washrooms, kitchens, appliances, windows, floors and carpets
– perform quality and completion checks on work
– report potential maintenance issues
– assist others as necessary
– drive company vehicle to and from job sites

Qualifications – Required:
– minimum one (1) year experience of residential or commercial cleaning
– physical ability to perform cleaning (i.e., scrubbing, mopping, etc.)
– ability to manage, move and use equipment such as vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, etc.
– valid Ontario license with clean driving record (‘G’-class)

Qualifications – Assets:
– acquired certificate for completion of WHMIS training
