We?re looking for a Chef Manager who can help us deliver the best customer service and food experiences in a unique environment.
Reporting to the General Manager, you?ll take a hands-on, working Chef approach, focusing on customer experience, culinary excellence, and client relations. You will play a key role in meeting budget requirements, ensuring that the account exceeds sales targets by delivering innovative food offerings, promotional activity and memorable experiences.
Job Responsibilities
? Develop innovative menus strategically for this unique location and facility
? Deliver company driven initiatives in service, food and safety at a high level
? Develop and maintain positive client relationships and create repeat guest clientele
? Coordinate and supervise personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labour, scheduling, staffing and training
? Hire, train and develop team for outstanding customer experience
? Proven change management skills and ability to use resources to meet goals and objectives
? Ensure that standards for sanitation and food safety are met
? Monitor financial operating results
? Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
? Maintain records to comply with Aramark, and government standards
? Ensure adherence to Aramark?s policies and procedures
Qualifications
? Red Seal certificate, equivalent certification, or proven equivalent experience in a Chef?s role required with food truck or mobile food service preferred
? Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
? Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during high-demand periods
? Ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced environment.
? Ability to work comfortably in a mobile/food truck environment
? Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
? Savvy with computers: online financial reporting, inventory software, online order portals, basic Outlook, payroll software, working with Office programs, maneuvering through different auditing systems used for operational tracking and reporting
? Self-directed with strong interpersonal and communications skills
? Strong organizational and time management skills.
? Experience with site openings with project management skills preferred
? Ability to work standing for long periods of time in restricted working space, able to comfortably lift 50lbs, able to comfortably work in hot, cold and wet environment
