Position Title: Software Engineering – Application Developer (Guidewire)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 06 Months long Contract (with possibilities of extension) 

Location: This role is based in Downtown, Toronto / GTA, ON (Remote role as of now)

Start Date: Beginning of December 2024
 

Pay Rate: 60$ – 77$ Incorporated HST

50$ – 65$ on T4

(Depending on years’ of experience and skillset)

 
Job Description (Must – have Skills):
 
We are looking for a Software Engineering – Application Developer (Guidewire) with below skillsets:

• 7 years overall relevant experience with strong “Guidewire” related work experience

As an Application Developer:

• You will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• You will be expected to be a subject matter expert (SME), collaborate and manage the team to perform, and make team decisions.
• Additionally, you will engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• You will also be expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Master proficiency in Design & Build Enablement is required.
• Configuration & Release Management, Build Management, and other skills are recommended.
• Develop innovative solutions to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application development
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth application performance
• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (4 Years Full time)

Additional Skills / Experience Requirement:
1) Guidewire Jutro Digital Platform (JDP): Certified.
2) Guidewire Digital Portals: 3 Year
3) Guidewire Integration: 5 Years
