Responsibilities
Tasks
- Conduct component defect investigations, examinations and tests
- Design and develop aerospace vehicles, systems and components
- Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers
- Develop and conduct computer simulations of aerospace vehicles, systems and components
- Prepare specifications for aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, repair or modification
- Write manuals for operators stating operational specification and maintenance schedule
- Report on structural, component or system failures
- Develop the technical phases of logistical and operational support for aerospace vehicles and systems
- Print in 3D
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
- Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
- Research and report on developments in specialized fields such as medicine, science and technology

- 1 to 2 people

- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
