The Caravan Group is currently seeking a Shop Supervisor, based out of Oakville, Ontario to support their team.
This is a full time day shift position. We offer an excellent hourly wage, competitive benefits, and a guaranteed 40 hours/week.

JOB DUTIES
Our Fleet mainly consists of Volvo VNL and VNR’s, dry and reefer trailers and your duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Manage technicians/apprentices
• Assign work to technicians based on experience level and ability
• Oversee and direct technicians and apprentices
• Review and audit repair orders for completion and quality
• Work with Service Manager to implement and execute short, medium, and long-term goals
• Maintain shop organization and cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, rules and regulations by all employees under their supervision as required by the company and legislation
• Investigate incidents that result in vehicle damage or injury
• Ensure correct handling and storage of all products in the shop
• Respond to and correct unsafe behaviors
REQUIREMENTS
• A dynamic personality, excellent work ethic
• Proven ability to lead and direct team members
• Process-oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Minimum of 1-year experience in leadership / supervisory role
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive or truck and coach
• 310T/310J license an asset
