Temporary General Labourer

We are looking for temporary General Labourers for 2 weeks job starting from Tuesday November 19, 2024, for our client who is engaged in the fabrication, construction and distribution sectors of the steel industry. Our client delivers multi-trade installation, maintenance and repair services and is a fully integrated unit of engineering, procurement and construction of field erected steel platework structures.
Duties
Assist in loading and unloading materials and products.
Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Support skilled tradespeople in various construction or manufacturing tasks.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Execute any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing job requirements.
Basic knowledge of safety practices in a labor environment is advantageous.
Must be comfortable standing, bending, and working in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
NOTE THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION FOR 2 WEEKS WORK STARTING IMMEDIATELY
