Responsibilities
Tasks
- Diagnose patient illnesses and minor injuries, such as allergies and muscle strains or sprains
- Diagnose physiological disorders and injuries of patients
- Treat patients by administering, in chemical or herbal form, a small dosage of a remedy made from natural substances or by suggesting lifestyle changes
- Treat the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients
- Manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands and feet
- Provide other alternative forms of health care to patients
- Treat patients by the insertion of acupuncture needles or through stimulation techniques
Credentials
