FLYNN CANADA (Sudbury Branch) is looking to hire apprentices

The Sudbury Branch of Flynn Canada is looking for some keen and energetic individuals to join its Service Department. We’re recruiting apprentices to cross-train in all three specialties:

• Commercial Glass (Glazing)
• Commercial Doors/Hardware/Locks
• Automatic Door Entrance Systems

HELPFUL SKILLS/EXPERIENCES:
• Some construction experience
• Some experience working with low voltage
• Some experience in the trades
• Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform Training
• Good customer relation skills

SOME REQUIREMENTS:
• Possess a valid driver’s licence and reliable method of transportation
• Able to pass security clearance screening that may be required from time to time by our clients
• Willingness to work in a unionized environment as a member of IUPAT 1904
• Available to work Monday through Friday and in some cases on evenings/weekends
• Available to occasionally work out of town and as part of an on-call roster
