HIRING AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN- LICENSED MECHANIC- 310S

Mike’s Auto Service is a complete automotive repair facility located in the heart of downtown Thorold. We have been in business for over 34 years and we are committed to providing excellent service and value to all our valued customers.

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues. The successful candidate will be expected to perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, while also providing excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

We are offering guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical systems.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks.
Inspect vehicles for safety issues and perform repairs as needed.
Test drive vehicles to diagnose and identify problems.
Use diagnostic tools to identify and diagnose problems.
Work efficiently while paying close attention to detail
Candidates must have a valid 310S mechanic license as well as a valid Ontario driver’s license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week
