Sales/Accounting Administrator (Corporate Head Office)

Eclipse Stores Inc. is a woman’s clothing retailer with over 80 stores across Canada. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of full time Sales/Accounting Administrator on our accounting team at our Corporate Office in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

As a part of our team, you will gain valuable experience in accounting and retail operations in a corporate office setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review store sales data to ensure accuracy and detect potential errors and fraud
  • Timely investigation for all tender deposits to reduce risk of loss
  • Identify and investigate over/shorts
  • Assist stores with tracking of shipments
  • Process monthly billings in Microsoft Dynamics accounting software
  • Process ecommerce orders placed through our website
  • Assist stores and accounting personnel as needed

This position requires someone who is detail oriented. Required skills include:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, University or College (Business, Accounting etc.) is required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude
  • Strong working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to perform data entry efficiently and accurately
  • Bilingual in French and/or retail experience would be considered assets.
