Experienced Nanny Needed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

We are a warm and welcoming family seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for our toddler within our safe and nurturing home environment. The ideal candidate must have prior childcare experience and be able to provide a valid Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, and up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications. Women are preferred. Vaccinations are an asset.
Both parents frequently work from home, so we mostly require someone to supplement childcare when we have to attend to work matters, housework, etc. Care will take place within our home 2 days per week. Working hours and pay are negotiable.

Responsibilities:

– Ensure the safety and well-being of our 18 month old in supplement to parents.
– Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities within the home, or on accompanied outings.
– Assist with light housekeeping related to childcare (e.g., meal prep, tidying play areas).
– Interacting with young toddler (reinforcing potty training, changing diapers, feeding, playing, etc.)
– Communicating with words and embracing sign language as toddler often uses this to express self. We will be there to help and support if you aren’t familiar with simple ASL 🙂

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a nanny or in a similar role.
– Valid checks and certifications as outlined (CPR, First Aid, Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check).
– Strong communication and organizational skills.
– Kind and patient attitude towards young children.
– Valid driver’s license
