Barista Job

Location: Savours Fresh Market, 3011 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON
Position: We are hiring a part-time (30 hours a week) Barista and must be available to work on Sunday Mornings.
We are a small community grocery store that is hiring for our cafe counter. At Savours, connection is at the core of everything we do. Our store team members are essential to who we are, and we pride ourselves on the way we connect with each other, our customers, and our community to make a positive impact every day.
As a barista, you’ll greet customers, take orders, make different coffee drinks, smoothies, frozen yogurt etc.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve baked goods, coffee beverages, smoothies, and other foods.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning counters and
equipment.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Consistently provides high-quality beverages, whole bean products, and food items by following recipe and presentation standards.
• Complies with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Experience:
experience in the food industry is an asset, but not required.

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

pay: $17.20/hr to start, with review after 3 months.
